ROSWELL, Ga. -- The Level 5 and 6 gymnasts on the Roswell Men's Gymnastics Team recently got the opportunity to be coached by an Olympian.

John Roethlisberger visited the team during practice on Mar. 7 to cheer the boys on before the upcoming state championship.

"It is always motivational for the team to meet with former gymnastics Olympians like John," Roswell Men's Gymnastics Team director and coach Ben Wood said in a statement. "These exceptional athletes inspire our team gymnasts to continue their hard work and maintain the belief that they can reach the highest ranks in the sport of gymnastics."

Roethlisberger was a member of Team USA in the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympics. He is also a four-time U.S. Nationals all-around and pommel horse champion.

He is the third Olympian to visit Roswell Gymnastics in less than a year. Jonathan Horton and McKayla Maroney stopped by the gym in October to talk about their experiences at the 2012 London Games.
