Egg Challenge sparks friendly local competition

Egg Challenge sparks friendly local competition

ROSWELL, Ga. -- The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department is gearing up for its annual Easter Egg Hunt this weekend.

However, the 6,000 eggs the city has on hand will not go very far with the 750 to 1,000 children expected to attend.

To help fill the gap, the Chick-fil-A at Roswell Corners (1185 Woodstock Road, 30075) started an Egg Challenge with several schools.

Roswell High School and Fellowship Christian School have stepped up to the challenge of filling plastic eggs with candy and donating them to the city of Roswell.

Students from both schools delivered their eggs to Morgan Rodgers, assistant director of the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department, on Wednesday, Apr. 20.
