Roswell White Hornets remain undefeated and are expected to go all the way

Roswell - This past Saturday was a perfect day for football.  By 12 noon the sun warmed up the field and with little wind and blue skies the Roswell White Hornets took the field against Alpharetta’s Green Eagles.

The White Hornets won 28-7 in a hard hitting game, yielding yet another win for the White Hornets 5th grade football team who is expected to go all the way this year.

So far in 4 games the White Hornets have averaged 235 yards and 4 TD's per game while holding their opponents to just one 1 touchdown each.

Attached is a picture of a blocked punt in the 2nd half, which sparked the team to a late 1st half touchdown that turned the game around going into the half.

The first time player shown blocking the punt against Alpharetta’s Green Eagles is Roswell’s White Hornets “Sam Antona”, who’s work ethic and contribution has earn him the starting Defensive End position.

Even though Sam is in his first year, his contribution to the team has been substantial.  Sam Antona’s work ethic at practice, his performance during the games, and continual improvement has exemplified the White Hornets motto.
