(WXIA) -- In honor of its 76th birthday, Krispy Kreme is offering a second dozen glazed donuts for 76¢ to customers who purchase a dozen at regular price.

The offer is good on Saturday, July 13 at all Krispy Kreme locations in Georgia. No coupon is required.

"When you hear people talk about having a 'Krispy Kreme,' they are most often referring to our signature treat -- the original glazed donut," Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer Dwayne Chambers said in a statement. "We're excited to celebrate 76 years of sharing delicious treats and creating fond memories by giving our fans an opportunity to try and share the donut that has become famous worldwide."

Krispy Kreme customers can choose a free doughnut of any variety.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 22, Pike customers can enjoy store-wide discounts on plants, gardening accessories, patio furniture and more. Williamson Brothers Bar-B-Q will provide complimentary food, and guests will have the opportunity to win discounts and a free landscape design. The first 100 customers will also receive a free reusable tote.

ATLANTA -- Pike Nurseries is holding a free class to help homeowners learn ways to draw birds to their backyards.

According to Pike Nurseries, roughly 350 species of birds live in Georgia. The birding class will teach participants the types of seed that are best for attracting birds, the three essentials needed to draw birds and how to provide for birds during the cold winter months.

RaceTrac hiring for Free Coffee Week

ATLANTA -- RaceTrac is hiring more than 100 temporary employees for the holidays.

The Cobb County-based chain of gas stations will hire two extra people at 66 Georgia locations to help promote Free Coffee Week.

Employees will hold signs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Dec. 17-21. Sign holders must be at least 18 years old and clean cut.

Rick Case Bikes for Kids program enters 31st year

DULUTH, Ga. -- The Rick Case Automotive Group is once again collecting bicycles for needy children this holiday season.

Now in its 31st year, the Rick Case Bikes for Kids program has collected more than 100,000 bikes in three states.

"This program is a way to put smiles on thousands of children's faces," Rick Case said in a statement. "Our community really comes together to make sure the children in the area can have the best holiday season possible."

Atlanta-area residents can drop off bicycles in good condition at five car dealerships. The bikes will be distributed through local Boys & Girls Clubs.
