School board announces March community meetings | Schools

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community.

The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for March:

Tuesday, Mar. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
Sweet Apple Elementary (12025 Etris Road, Roswell)

District 2 (Katie Reeves)
Tuesday, Mar. 20 at 7 p.m.
Milton High (13025 Birmingham Highway)

District 3 (Gail Dean)
Thursday, Mar. 15 at 9:30 a.m.
Spalding Drive Charter Elementary (130 West Spalding Drive, Sandy Springs)

District 4 (Linda Bryant)
Monday, Mar. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
Renaissance Middle (7155 Hall Road, Fairburn)

District 5 (Linda McCain)
Tuesday, Mar. 20 at 7 p.m.
Northview High (10625 Parsons Road, Johns Creek)

District 6 (Catherine Maddox)
Monday, Mar. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
S.L. Lewis Elementary (6201 Connell Road, College Park)

District 7 (Julia Bernath)
Tuesday, Mar. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
Esther Jackson Elementary (1400 Martin Road, Roswell)

Fulton County Board of Education members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
