MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- Fame is fickle, especially in politics or sports. Think Marco Rubio's water bottle from last week.

However, this week it's a fingernail.

Now, here is another offering of how you can get real famous, real quick, in real time -- the key is by keeping it real.

Shanteona Keys is from Roswell and attends Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. She is the best player on her basketball team and the most accomplished off the court -- a 4.0 student and the leading scorer, averaging 16 points per game.

But this week, Shanteona went viral. She missed a free throw that one website described as the "worst in basketball history."

As she was attempting the shot, her fingernail caught her nostril and the ball went only a few feet high.

Shanteona has a wonderful sense of humor about her basketball moment. She explains with grace and laughter.
