Local high school soccer team being investigated for hazing
ROSWELL, Ga. (WXIA) -- 11Alive has learned a local high school soccer team has been suspended for a crude hazing event that happened at the school.
It all took place at Centennial High School in Roswell. So far, both police and Fulton County Schools have not released much information; however, did confirm there is an investigation underway.
Fulton County Schools issued this statement:
"At this point in the investigation the decision has been made to cancel the team's next four games."
According to the school's website, the team's season was supposed to start Feb. 24 against Roswell High School. If the four-game suspension holds, the team will not play until Mar. 10.
