Fulton County 4-H accepting applications for summer camp | Families
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Fulton County Cooperative Extension is accepting applications for its 2015 4-H Summer Camp. 4-H Summer Camp is something to consider for your kids to experience creative fun and memories without heating up your wallet or credit card bills.
“Our 4- H Summer Camp has an exciting program for every age,” states Menia Chester, Director of Fulton County Cooperative Extension. “From the Clover Leaf Camp to the Senior Camp, students will enjoy the activities, make friends and create lifetime memories.”
Cloverleaf Camp is for grades 5th-6th. It will be held June 29-July 3, 2015 at Rock Eagle in Eaton. The cost is $295*. Participants will experience Pioneer Camping.
Marine Resources Camp is for grades 6th-8th (Must be 12 years old). It will be held July 20-24, 2015 at the Burton 4-H Center in Tybee Island. The cost is $330*. This camp is for the child who would like to experience dissecting a shark.
Junior Camp is for grades 7th-8th. It will be held June 15-19, 2015 at the Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton. The cost is $380*. This camp is for the child interested in animals and would enjoy learning about and playing with animals at the Fortson farm.
Wilderness Challenge Camp is for grades 6th-8th. It will be held July 6-10, 2015 at the Wahsega 4-H Center in Dahlonega. The Cost is $345*. This camp is for the child who loves water. Participants will experience white water rafting down the Ocoee River.
Senior Camp is for grades 9th – 12th. It will be held June 29 – July 3, 2015 at the Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton. The cost is $335*. This camp is for the older student who would enjoy outdoor activities.
Camp sign up hours are between 8am – 5pm. at the Camp Fulton Truitt, 4300 Herschel Road, College Park. *There may be additional fees for transportation costs.
