Make Asian, Mexican food at Barrington Hall | Events
ROSWELL, Ga. -- Local chef John Wilson is bringing his popular cooking classes back to Barrington Hall, this time with sessions on how to prepare basic Asian and Mexican foods.
"Basic Asian" will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21. Under Wilson's instruction, participants will learn how to prepare:
* Egg rolls with apricot dipping sauce
* Stir fry chicken and cashews
* Shrimp and lemongrass soup
* Cucumber salad
During the "Basic Mexican" class on Tuesday, Mar. 6, participants will make:
* Chicken and green chile casserole
* Pepper and onion quesadillas
* Spicy black beans
* Natillas (custard with fresh fruit)
Both classes cost $50 to attend and are held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Call 770-640-3855 to reserve a spot.
