ROSWELL, Ga. -- The Roswell Recycling Center is now accepting certain types of fluorescent light bulbs.

Roswell residents can drop off up to five tube bulbs (like the ones found in overhead lights) or U-shaped bulbs per visit. They must prove their residency with a utility bill or the Roswell car window sticker.

The recycling center plans to crush the bulbs with a machine that safely captures the mercury inside them.
