ROSWELL, GA -- Detectives in Roswell need help identifying the suspect in the robbery of a Kohl's department store.
On Friday, Oct. 1 at approximately 9:30 a.m., a suspect walked into Kohl's (620 West Crossville Road, Roswell, 30075) and approached the jewelry counter. The suspect allegedly told a sales associate that he was getting ready to "pop the question." He examined several rings and then grabbed a diamond ring worth approximately $9,000 and ran out of the store.
The suspect is described as a black man with very dark skin, about 6'2" to 6'4" and 300 pounds. He was wearing square-rimmed glasses and had a very large stomach.
The suspect drove away in a white 1990s model two-door passenger vehicle, possibly a Dodge Stratus, Pontiac Grand Am or Chevy Caprice.
