Rape suspect stabbed by victim's mother | Crime
ROSWELL, Ga. -- Roswell Police are looking for a man who they say was stabbed as he tried to rape a 15-year-old girl.
Isauro Hernandez-Acosta is still at large, despite suffering multiple stabbing injuries.
Roswell Police Officer Lisa Holland said Hernandez-Acosta is wanted for trying to rape his girlfriend's daughter at around 5:30 a.m. Sunday at the Crossings at Woodbridge Apartments on Old Holcomb Bridge Way.
The teenager screamed when Hernandez-Acosta began attacking her, and the victim's mother ran in and stabbed the suspect several times with a knife, Holland said.
Hernandez-Acosta ran from the apartment and hasn't been seen since. Holland said the suspect does not have a car.
Hernandez-Acosta is 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Hernandez-Acosta is asked to call 911. Holland said he may show up at a hospital for treatment for his stab wounds.
