ROSWELL, Ga. -- Canton Street in Roswell is such a good place to run a restaurant that Hicham Azhari owns three of them here.

"It's great; it's a great, great town," he said.

Azhari's Salt Factory Pub was featured on the Food Network last year, bringing national attention to his Shepherd's Pie.

But it's the Prince Edward Island mussels that are the most popular dish.

The menu's designed to take diners around the world.

"People are courageous," said Azhari, who also own INC Street Food and Little Alley Steak. "They want to try new things and discover new flavors."

ATLANTA, GA -- Did you know that pneumonia & diarrhea are the two leading causes of death in children under the age of 5, accounting for 1/3 of childhood deaths worldwide? According to the United Nations Foundation, over 1.5 million children globally die annually from preventable childhood diseases such as polio, and measles due to lack of access to the life saving vaccinations. Statistics show that one child dies every 20 seconds from a disease that could easily be prevented through immunizations.

April 21st-28th, 2012 celebrates World Immunization Week, which aims to raise global awareness on the disparities of global health and promote the importance of keeping children healthy by providing families in marginalized countries with increased access to vaccination programs.

ROSWELL, Ga. -- A local Eagle Scout used his required service project to do some good for Roswell's Sweet Apple Elementary School.

Mack Farr recruited more than 20 friends to help him build two double-sided covered benches for the school's play area. He raised money to fund the project, and put the leftover donations into a check, which he then presented to school principal Natalie Richman.

To show their gratitude for his project, all 780 students and 100 staff members at Sweet Apple Elementary invited him to a kindergarten performance. Richman also gave him a special plaque.

Farr is a freshman at Milton High School, where he plays lacrosse and earns excellent grades.

Chick-fil-A to host mother-son 'Date Knight'

Chick-fil-A to host mother-son 'Date Knight'

ATLANTA -- All of the Chick-fil-A restaurants in metro Atlanta will host a special mother-son Date Knight on Saturday, Apr. 28.

The Date Knight format will be similar to that of the franchise's massively popular Daddy-Daughter Date Nights. It will give mothers and sons a special chance to enjoy some quality time together.

The event will have a medieval theme, hence the "Knight" part of its title.

"One of Chick-fil-A's goals is to promote community connections and enrich the lives of everyone we come in contact with," Robin Lomax, Chick-fil-A area marketing director, said in a statement. "We understand the importance of mother-son relationships and want to encourage local moms to come to Chick-fil-A, enjoy their sons' company over a meal and have fun."
