Little Hands, Big Hearts

This holiday season, many children volunteered to help make sure children in need had gifts to open on Christmas morning. Children of all ages enjoyed Christmas shopping and many of our local Christian schools kindly adopted a family to sponsor for each classroom of students.

Natalie Kandul (10 years old) and Kaitlyn Lauria (9 years old) organized a toy drive all by themselves. They made the flyers and distributed them in their neighborhood with a parent’s supervision. Their hard work paid off when they were able to collect over 50 toys!

Boy Scouts Troop #205 in Alpharetta collected diapers, batteries, baby wipes and stocking stuffers for Act Together children. The boys were able to earn service hours for their volunteer time and they seemed to enjoy helping Santa load cars the week-end before Christmas.

Since it’s beginning, Act Together Ministries has offered “Little Hands” projects. These volunteer projects are designed specifically for children under 12 years of age.
