The North Fulton community is invited to join Fulton County Commissioner Liz Hausmann (District 3) and Fulton County departments and other nonprofit partners for a North Fulton Community Open House on Saturday, June 16.  This family-friendly event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with an official ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m.

The Open House will take place outside of Commissioner Hausmann’s new District Office, located at 3155 Royal Drive, Alpharetta, GA, 30022, in the same complex with North Fulton Health Center and offices of the Fulton County Tax Commissioner and Tax Assessors.

The day’s activities will include information and activities, including a performance by the Johns Creek Symphony, arts activities with the Printmakers Studio, the Atlanta-Fulton County Bookmobile, library card sign-up and story time, environmental craft activities with the Department of Water Resources, and much more.

The North Fulton Health Center will provide immunizations and other health services. Residents will be able to get gardening advice through a Plant Doctor Clinic from the Cooperative Extension Service. The youngest residents will enjoy getting to meet Rocky the Reading Raccoon, the official mascot of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library.
