ATLANTA – There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

Atlanta by Air, Inc. will be conducting daily aerial sightseeing tours of the Atlanta skyline and key landmarks for up to three passengers. The flights depart from Peachtree DeKalb Airport and are by appointment only. For more information contact Atlanta by Air at (678) 536-9166. The Peachtree DeKalb Airport is located at 1 Corsair Drive in Chamblee.

Go see classic rock icons, WAR, at the Fiesta Atlanta: Cinco De Mayo Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park. The fifth annual festival will be a day-long festival of Latino culture, music, arts, crafts and children’s activities. Centennial Olympic Park is located at 285 International Boulevard.

Take the “From Civil War to Civil Rights Tour” this Friday at Underground Atlanta. The, almost, two hour guided history tour costs $6 per person and gives participants the opportunity to hear stories of what life was like in the 1800’s. Underground Atlanta is located at 50 Upper Alabama Street in Atlanta.

Commemorate the Royal Wedding on Sunday with Afternoon Tea at the St. Regis. Celebrate the timeless tradition of Afternoon Tea or “low tea”, the meal between lunch and dinner. The St. Regis is located at 88 West Paces Feet Road in Atlanta.

Check out the opening of Genki Sushi and Noodles in the Virginia Highlands on Friday night. The restaurant is owned by Suzi and Reid Zeising. Similar to the location on Roswell Road, this restaurant offers a comfortable dining experience in a bustling district. Genki is located at 1040 North Highland Avenue.

According to some, Atlanta’s Best Street Festival, the Inman Park 40th Spring Festival will be held this weekend in Inman Park. The festival includes: the Tour of Homes, Parade, Music, Dance, a Kidzone and the Rocket Run. Most attractions are free.
